I don’t like seeing warning or error icons. So when I enable SSH on my VMware hosts, it bothers me that there’s a yellow exclamation glaring at me.
SSH is enabled. I want that. So therefore it’s not a warning.
To clear the warning:
- In the vSphere client click on the host.
- Click on the configuration tab.
- Click on Advanced Settings.
- Scroll down to UserVars and click on it.
- In the right pane, scroll down and find UserVars.SuppressShellWarning
- Change the value to 1.
